I transferred songs via iTunes onto my 1st gen Nano (firmware is up to date).

The problem is one that's odd. The songs are on the nano, like when I view the library when it's connected to my computer, they're there. When I put the songs in shuffle mode, the song plays. BUT, when looking through the nav menu like artists or songs, some songs aren't there. But they play when on shuffle....it's wierd.

So is there any way to fix this?

I've experienced this issue before a few times. I was able to fix it by deleting the files from the iPod and transferring them back over again.

Well, I tried that a couple times, and it didn't work. It's driving me crazy. The ID3 tags are all correct (usually if they're not, it'll organize it in iTunes at the bottom of the list, with no artist, but the title of the song like this "artist - song title"....weird and it's killing me as to why it's not working....

All irrelevant now, since I lost my iPod running to catch the bus...I didn't notice it fall out of my pocket...suck...
