Hi,
Never had this issue before. Was considering buying a Nano, so I tried LW Trips on my girlfriend's nano. Unamped and at flat EQ, it sounded alright. But when I set the EQ to bass boost, I heard buzz, and interference with the muted soundtrack playing in background (Russian Circles, Geneva, track 1 or 2, I think). This disappeared when the EQ was set to flat again. I tried acoustic, and treble boost, both did not yield the same response as bass boost (sounded alright).
Has this got to do with the IEM? I highly doubt so, because it sounds alright with my current player (N81, yeah I know, that why I'm considering a DAP).
