Shame there is no way to power the ipod while in use.

yep, you use the mini female of the sik din with a mini to rca cable - and the firewire dongle can be used to hook into your firewire wallwart. sik din still wins!

And while you are not charging or do not have firewire, then you have this vestigial appendage left over on the Sik Din...that's why the PocketDock still wins!

People are forgetting that this thing is 1/3 the cost of the pocket dock and sik din even before buying another cable to get to RCA outs that both pocketdock and sik require. This product is great for quick simple and clean way to get RCA outputs.

I know someone who has a custom battery pack connected to SiK DIN's firewire socket, killer app
