This is the only warning posted about the Classic update 1.1.2.

IMPORTANT: Before you update your iPod software to version 1.1.2, you will need to transfer any rented movies currently on your iPod back to iTunes. After the update is complete, you can transfer your rented movies back to your iPod to watch them on the go.

About 10 days into the update, and no problems. Could just be a placebo effect, but for some reason the SQ seems just a tad cleaner and the soundstage a little more well placed in space. Anyone else notice this, or is it just me?

Also, the menu is slightly less laggy, album art loads somewhat faster, and the scroll wheel is definitely more responsive.

at macrumors.com it was noticed that something in the sound had improved. that too could be placebo.

I have noticed no improvement, and have used it since the release a week or so ago. I can also say that it didn't fix the audio pause/skip problem when using lossless files.

I think soundquality improved little too with better sense of soundstage(more smooth overall).
