I would basically like an iPod-ish DAP with a coax out. Any suggestions? I tried a Fiio X3iii but the user interface is convoluted. The play/pause, RW and FF buttons all ONLY work when you're in certain screens (and a zillion other UI problems, sounds better but...)
Anyway.. Anyone have a suggestion of a DAP that has coax out? It would be cool if it could also do USB DAC (and even cooler if that includes USB passthrough to another DAC (as I have another DAC that doesn't have USB in so this would be helpful - not sure if the Fiio stuff does that or not)..
It would also be nice if it didn't take 1 minute to power on like an X5iii, and also didn't lock it's controls out.. basically something that would be simple/predictable to operate/navigate while driving, from the DAP itself, not via some sort of HU or phone control. So dedicated buttons would be preferable to touch screens if possible.
