Hi guys,

I am new to head-fi and looking for a new DAP.
How does Ipod Classic, Ipod touch, NW-F series compare to each other?
Any suggestion or recommendation is welcomed.
I am looking for a DAP with good clarity.

Thanks

The Sony F series walkmen, iPods has line out and external AMPs canbe use with them for better sound experience and F series walkman has supperior soundquality through HP jack and canbe even improve further with downloaded APPs from Google store. The iPod has more capacity but if you buy iMod ipod then it will realy imrove with AMPs and not many DAPs include Sony F series can sound close to it.

I personally believe in the hifi world the touch is a poor choice. Apple has become cheaper with their equipment and the new connector is incapable of outputting analog signal. This means that you will not be able to hook up an external amp via line out. You could, however the amp will require a license to decode the signal from apple and this will heavily drive up the price of the amp, most likely exceeding the price of the player.
