This has probably been discussed before but I can't seem to find another thread. Comparatively which has better line out sound quality? I currently have an iPhone 4 and I have some customs and an amp coming and I have been toying with the idea of getting a iPod classic from amazon mainly due to its storage size. The one thing that will save me a couple of hundred bucks is if the iPhone 4 has better output, If that's the case i would never use the classic.
I know that there are better DAPs out there but for the price the iPod classic is really attractive. I like the idea of holding a quarter-ish of my music instead of having to constantly cycle the 20GBs I normally have free on the phone.
