Which do you think is more reasonable when I am planning to do mainly lossless? 80gb or 160gb?

I'm too lazy to count, but I've got maybe around 200. I wont do them all lossless because of time, but I also plan on buying more.

I'm going to the dark side. My zune just deleted 70 songs automatically with autosync off.

the 160 if you plan on music, podcasts ,movies and photos it all adds up.
i left out music videos and i-books but if music only an 80gb may work
just fine i have 1000 song in loseless with a couple of music videos and photo's its full.
its a 30gb.

160G compare to 80G
1. $100 more
2. doubled space
3. longer battery life (10 for music/2 for vedio)
4. a little thicker
5. a little heavier

All your call now.
The point #3 is my reason to choose 160G over 80G

this is a really good point. I have also thought about the amount of time i spend trying to find goood deals, and im not sure it is worth the money i save... but it feels goood to spend less on gear

If I were to choose between the two, I'd go for the 160GB for the battery life as well.

Go with the 160, you will always need more space. Maybe not today but just when you think you don't want to deal with Lossless you hear or see something that takes you over to the dark side because you know you have to space to pack it around with :)

Well in real life terms, i listen to my 160Gb Classic roughly 5 hours a day, and charge it 2/3 times a week.
