Sorry guys i'm guessing this has been posted million times maybe, but just cant find direct answer to this, any help? Just looking a good ipod player, and not going to use any Amps, at least for now.

The iPod Classic is better not only soundquality, play louder but higher capacity and can hook up with external AMPs/DAC for even better soundquality.

Any one else have these 2 device for comparison? or iPhone 4S?

Hi there. I personally feel that the iPhone 5's DAC has quite poor instrument separation and soundstage compared to the iPhone 4 and 4S. Sorry, I have not tried the Classic 7G so I can't say much. However, I am not saying that the iPhone 5 sounds bad. The sound has pretty good resolution though.

So i found this chip witch is on iPod Classic 7th CS42L55 http://www.cirrus.com/en/products/cs42l55.html
But still not able to find info about iPhone 5 CS35L19 (from what i have read this is the chip)
