$50 for 5 minutes of labor? I can get an ipod open in about 3 minutes without damaging it.

It does seem a little pricey. But then again, I've never had any battery problems.

I doubt anyone here will be sending their iPods in, but it's nice to know the procedure for dealing with it ourselves. Personally, no one I know has had battery problems.
