Everything must have been buggered up based on my initial tagging issues.
Thanks for the help and I hope I get it now.
I now have about 2000 tracks on my iPod and tested these arrangements. It works like it should. My issue was the lack of tagging details. I also found that iTunes does a nice job in helping with multiple tracks for installing album titles and genre information.
