OK - I must be missing something huge here, yet I can't seem to find a good thread on this.
Just received my Grace Design Massdrop M9xx and I can't screw%^%^ get my iphone to spit out anything other than 44.1k audio via the camera connection kit and USB. I've tried AIFF 24/96 files (Chesky "You're Surrounded" album), AIFF 24/88.1 (Rebecca Pidgeon "Spanish Harlem"), and FLAC 24/96 (Fleetwood Mac "Rumors" album) and everything shows up on the m9xx as 44.1k sample rate. I've tried VOX player, VLC, iTunes - they all come up the same on the m9xx when hooked up this way.
Now when I hook the m9xx up to my mac via USB and run Audivana or Fidelia.. no problem. I see the correct sample rate show up.. All is good. So I know the m9xx is fine (and sounds amazing like this BTW). But what the heck is going on with my iphone? I should be able to stream it out without transcoding/downsampling via the camera connection kit - right?
Help!
