While Technically true. They all also have 3.5mm Line In, 3.5mm Balanced Line In. Or, Micro USB. I would go with 3.5mm connection most likely.

yong_shun is correct. As I said in my edit, iOS devices with Lightning connectors don't have an analog line level output-- only headphone and digital. Amping the headphone output is only going to make it sound worse, not better. You could do it if you want, but I wouldn't spend the money on a DAC, just an amp.

After doing some research here on Head-Fi. I have determined that Line-Out camera connector is not for me. Seeing other 5G set ups with the connector, it creates quite the dongle mess. So, it's just not something I want to deal with. I've decided to buy a DAP. My budget is $350. So I'm sure I'll find something good. I will check the milliwatts. It'll need to bump 600mW @300 ohms minimum to drive my HD6XX's.
