Dear Head-Fiers

I'm kinda lost here, so I have an iPhone5 and a colorfly C3, with Beyerdynamica DT880 pro 250, Klipsch X10, Fisher Audio Eterna, and other old cans, using GoVibe Peak at home.

Now I was wondering should I buy a GO-DAP X for iPhone5 or an Amp for C3 maybe FiiO new E12, I can get used GoVibe Vest amp too.

Which option would give me better sound quality, if on iPhone I need to use ALAC ya? C3 FLAC.

Listening to R&B, Trance, Jazz.

Well. iPhone does not support FLAC, so ALAC is the way to go. I don't know whether the C3 has a line out. If it cannot do line-out, then don't amp it. Double-amped signals result in white noise. On the other hand, I just noticed that you have an iPhone 5. You cannot line-out a lightning connector. I don't know if the GO-DAP will work with lightning connector.
