wondering if anyone has considered amping an iphone. would be the same thing as amping an ipod classic? or would it sound totally different?

i have a pair of shure e530's coming in the mail. as for connecting to the phone, i have a shure music phone adapter. wondering if amping would make it sound better.

Amping it won't do much other than make it sound louder unless you use the ouput from the dock connector instead of the headphone out. Plugging the headphone out into an amp would yield almost no benefit. Your money would be better spent on better headphones, or buying the original CD's of whatever material you're putting on the phone and ripping it in higher quality.

However, if you want an amp, iphone, and dock connector cable in your pocket, this is the place for you. Contact Ken at ALOaudio.com directly, the price for his iphone cables is the same as his ipod models, which are on his website.
