Just got a pair of Oppo PM-3's. I have a Schiit stack (Magni 2 Uber / Modi 2) ordered to drive them while at my desktop listening station. However, I fly fairly frequently for business and am looking for a portable DAC/AMP combo to use with my iPhone 7.

The Oppo HA2-SE would seem to be the logical choice, as it's able to connect via lightning directly without an Apple CCK dongle. The Fiio i1 looks interesting, but isn't for sale and doesn't appear to have any fixed launch date. Is there anything else that I should be considering as an option?

Since you have Schiit products, on-the-way at least, take a look at the Fulla2.
You can put a portable USB battery pack and make it portable.
I think I read it here where someone did exactly this, and was pleased with the setup.  Cheaper way to go too.

Right.  I went back and tried to find the thread where some had set this up.... it's here (might have to read back or forward to get more info).
They say to use the Apple approved CCK to get it to be a "compatible" device, but it will work.  Lightning-to-microUSB shouldn't be that difficult, but alas, we are talking about Apple.
