Being the heir of the awesome sounding iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S i think that it would be interesting to set a thread discussing the headphone out quality of the upcoming iPhone 5.
In the realm of the 16 bits world i don't think that there is much room for improvement (Aside from more output power).
Objectively, the harmonic and intermodulation distortion, stereo crosstalk, noise floor and output impedance of previous iPhones is nothing short of stellar and subjectively i find the iPhone 4/4S headphone out mesmerizing along with my UM3x and SE420.
The noisier LTE chip and relocation of the headphone out hint at some major changes...so let's pray for the 5 to keep up to the 4's
