Hi everyone.
I'm in the process of putting a little portable music combo together but I need some assistance with whether I should lash out and purchase a portable amp.
My source is an iphone 5 and I play Apple lossless files via the phone's iTunes app.
I've been using a variety if budget IEMs, including my current Xiaomi Pistons.
It works well but I'm about to up the game with a purchase of some Dita The Answer IEMs.
The Ditas are a high end, full range, single dynamic driver with a fairly standard (by IEM standards) impedance and present a fairly benign load to any amp.
Will a good separate DAC/amp improve on the iPhone's already good integrated combo?
What would I really have to consider ($ wise and product wise) to make an addition worthwhile?
Cheers everyone.
