having both the 32GB touch, and the 16GB iPhone... to me, its a total no-brainer... the iPhone has an easy to notice increase in presence and power which makes the touch sound quite flat by comparison...

Have to agree to Duncan. I have the same two devices and after a quick comparison the touch sounds flat. Wonder if that is a software issue. Maybe I will get the 2.0 firmware upgrade for the touch and compare again.
Compared with E4C and Ultrasone DJ1 connected directly to the devices headphone out.

I have 2.0.2 firmware on both devices, and it makes no difference... the results are still the same...
