So I just bought some Shure SE530's for my iPhone 3G.

If anyone here has an iPhone, they would know that the headphones that come with it have a little button for playing/pausing/next song. The Shure SE530's do not have a button like this. Are their any adapters that I can buy that will work well with these headphones? Anyone have experience with such adapters?

I do not care much for a microphone adapter, just the playback button.

This looks it is a microphone and does not actually control the iPod. Also, it is very long, seems like my cord will drag on the ground

Haha, the SE530 has modulair cable as you can see here:

So you'll be replacing the cable from the y-split down to the plug with the Shure MPA-3C cable

It works for pausing, next song and previous song.
