Invisible Shield ?

So, a replacement invisible shield came in the mail. I removed the current shield, and much to my dismay, it left a good deal of residue. What's up with that? I thought this product did not leave any kind of gunk behind... grrr.

Any ideas on how I can clean this **** off without scratching it? I have access to alcohol at work, but I'd much prefer to do this at home.

Very annoyed,

Same thing happened to me!

I was extremely pissed. I also was angry because I needed two replacement shields and they send me one that was missing the center button and one empty package!

I got pretty much all of the residue off by using rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball (along with half and hour of scrubbing). Once I put on the new shield (with windex) it looked perfect.

They have since sent me two center buttons and two wheel donuts, but have yet to replace the other shield!

yeah the new version is really tough stuff, i'm very impressed. right now i'd even say to go for it over the IS because the BSE has better cut sides that go all the way up.

well, i wound up using the peeled IS as a sort of adhesive to grab the residue... i _thought_ i got all of it, but after applying the new shield I'm not so sure. i know it will look a lot better once it settles, but *******it i am nervous i just screwed up another one.

damnit all to hell.
