There's such a wealth of information here it's hard to craft an initial question that I can't already find in a thread. And I've been contributing to some of these for a couple of weeks now.
So, maybe just a bit of introduction and background for my initial thread will suffice.
My nickname has nothing to do with the two obvious implications, so I'm neither alien nor horned.
I've been entrenched in the high tech world for more than 30 years, most recently focusing on smartphone software technology. And now I am retired.
I had room for another hobby, and lots of room in my head now for a soundstage so, here I am.

I have just gotten into listening with a set of Fostex T50RP MK iii headphones, enjoying Mulligan meets Webster via an ipod through an Antique Soundlabs HB1 tube headphone amplifier.
I cant put them down, cant believe how good cans can reproduce music.
