Thank you both! I'll check it out.Sorry, I'm an Android user so don't really know. But indeed MConnect is excellent if available for Apple.
Yes, you can do bit perfect and 24 bit DNLA streaming on UAPP to GT2.

Thanks for highlighting the Paw D3 it’s peaked my interest.Yup, there's no way around that except doing it manually. With MP3Tag, I recommend connecting it to Discogs which will save some time as the tagging can be automated from within MP3Tag but you still need to locate the specific album. MediaMonkey might be eaiser but I'm too OCD to not oversee everything

Replying to @skcheng because of this daft double posting rule:
- Yes for treble. It's crisp, energetic, and articulate, but never strident. Beautifully done.
- I don't mind the warmth personally, I just hope it doesn't exact pressure on the internals.
- I tried LTTP on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Certainly sounded more robust than Chord Poly. Also using the GT2 as a desktop DAC and works perfectly (I'll be curious to see how it pairs up with new PAW D3 within a desktop setting).
- So your unfixed 3.5mm also doesn't work in line out mode? Does it say, "volume is not adjustable"? If so, it should be adjustable. 4.4mm works perfectly in all modes. I tried with various adapters on 3.5mm. I suspect it's a software bug.

Mconnect is working like a charm! Logged into Tidal and everything.Sorry, I'm an Android user so don't really know. But indeed MConnect is excellent if available for Apple.

Yeah, I just did this and it says "volume not adjustable". Unfixed LO only works with 4.4mm out.Can someone with a GT2 nearby do me a favour. Can you insert any cable - IC or headphone cable or even an adapter - into the 3.5mm plug. Can you please then go to settings, and choose "line out" as output type and "unfixed" as the line out option. See below. Taking any headphones off, can you then adjust the volume dial and tell me what happens? Thank you.

Thanks. Good to know it's only a software issue. I've told Lotoo and hopefully they'll FW fix it soon.Yeah, I just did this and it says "volume not adjustable". Unfixed LO only works with 4.4mm out.
works great.thanks so much.
my main reason to buy the gt2 is because of the lttp dongle. I am using the arc pulse case with my 16 pro max (space black) and 16 pro and have attached pictures.
any thoughts if it would fit without having to remove the bottom of the case?
the internet suggests it is protrudes about 1.5mm
i think you may need a otg cable instead of the apple one.I am noticing some weird behaviour with my GT2 and would be super happy if anyone could try this out at home.
When connecting the GT2 with my iphone via an usb c to usb c cable, it doesnt work. The GT2 shows "USB Audio: Are you sure to enter USB Audio mode?". If I click OK, then my phone will charge for a second, say the device cannot be used, and never play audio on the GT2.
When I connect it with the ubs c to a cable that came with the GT2 (by using an adapter), it works as expected, and I get the "normal" selection of the 4 usb operating modes on the GT2.
Also, connecting other devices via usb c to c works as expected. GT2 firmware is newest, and I tried out different cables/iOS devices.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone else have the same experience?
My file tags must be perfect because all of my albums show up just like I want them.In order to avoid copy / paste, I will just put here link to the summary comparison I made of the LPGT2 and Cayin N8ii against after 2 months with both : https://www.head-fi.org/threads/cay...dac-and-fully-bal-nutube.961041/post-18650402
As a summary, in my view, LPGT2 has great sound, and many advantages.
Yet, I'm still MOST puzzled by the fact such a device seems not to be able to read the files on the proper order. More than 3keuros. Lasting since years...
I'm getting out, too bad !
Note : anyway, definitely great sounding DAP... For those with the patience, or which have already entered the proper order...
I can now share some impressions on GT2 and Type-L here. Cheers! Thanks. I'm really considering buying the GT2 since it has variable line-out and it seems to be very transparent and neutral. Also Utsusemi Works is realeasing a new Amp, SOUND TIGER Type-L, specifically made for Lotoo DAPs.
