Hello there, if you connect a usb c male to male cable from your phone to the GT2 to stream, will it work? I was wondering if you could please give it a try?
thanks so much.
my main reason to buy the gt2 is because of the lttp dongle. I am using the arc pulse case with my 16 pro max (space black) and 16 pro and have attached pictures.
any thoughts if it would fit without having to remove the bottom of the case?
thanks so much.

Hey! I forgot that you also owned one haha. Good seeing you here.
I may have phrased the question poorly. Basically, I wanted to know if the dap protects the battery from overcharging by bypassing the battery once fully charged (in USB mode) and using power from the laptop. Similar to Mojo 2’s “intelligent desktop mode”.

Using the pulldown menu, I select "USB DAC" (as opposed to the "Charge" option). As far as I can tell, to listen in USB DAC mode, this is the only way. This enables USB DAC mode and prevents the battery from charging. The battery level stays the same the whole time I'm listening in USB DAC mode, so neither charges or discharges. I think it is a built in feature to prevent battery drain. This has been my experience with it.

For the life of me I can't get it to actually charge with the "charge" option, at least during playback. It's plugged into an Anker 100W charger with a OWC Thunderbolt 5 cable which should be compatible with every popular charging protocol. However it does not charge if it's playing, only after pausing. I've just let it play and charge and it topped up a whopping 10% and plateaued, no change after 30 minutes. Anyone figured it out?

I had a similar issue when I first got my GT2, I was using a fast anker usb-c charger (iPhone 14 pro charged to 80% in less than an hr) but it literally took all day to charge. bought a new 200w anker charger and a new belkin boost charge usb-c cable and now its really fast.
