New Head-Fier
Hello!
I've been lurking here for a while but thought I come out of lurker mode to introduce myself. I'm a music lover who has been using headphones for ages. As I type this, I'm listening to my Sennheiser 495s. I've had them for quite a whle and use them at work now. At home I have AKG 550s running through my Musical Fidelity V-90 HPA. I also hace some iGrado's (somewhere - my kids like those) and several other portable cans. The AKGs sound good, but I'm hoping to upgrade those in the near future. NOt quite sure to what yet - I do like Sennheiser's so the 650 or, if I win the lottery, the 800 come to mind. Not sure how they'd work with my current amp though. I tend to listen to all kinds of music from early music to rock, jazz and alternative. Folk music is problably the nearest to my heart though. We'll see - the fun part is trying to find the best cans.
