I find myself working with colleagues around the globe on several projects and it would be very useful to have their local time on my desktop for reference. I use dual monitors so I would place it on my secondary one alongside of IM. I would prefer if it were free. Is anyone using one they might suggest?

Well, it might be easier if you mention which OS you use.

I use the 'World Time' Dashboard widget, and are very pleased with it.

Try browsing the Konfabulator gallery... or if you use Google Desktop, consider a Gadget.
