I'm very interested in the Apogee Mini-DAC, it's because of the firewire capability and the headphone out.
But before I murder a chunk off my bank account, I want to step back and take some opinion first.
I'm concerning if the Mini-Dac's phone out able to drive my K240S and MDR-V6 well?

On the other hand, I'm still opening for option on DAC/AMP combo machines that are <=$1000.

Mine can drive 300 ohm HD600 and 600 ohm AKG K240M well, along with 32 ohm Grados which is does even better with.
