Perhaps I dreamed this but I'm pretty sure I found a while back an integrated amp with a Dac AND...a usb input for computer connection AND...a headphone jack!

Was I dreaming?

HPDac = basically Minified Pint + AlienDAC

Dared mp-5 is a tube headphone/high sensitivity speakers that has a USB dac included. You can look for the main thread about it.

HPDAC is USB powered, USB + headphone amp. A couple of pictures of it velcroed to my laptop there : http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showth...el#post2791903

Both are very convenient solutions.

Pretty much any integrated amp (or receiver for that matter) with some type of Dolby decoder in it will work as a stereo DAC. These units typically have at least optical and coaxial digital inputs and some have USB.
