I need some advice on whether or not to trade my integrated amp (Rotel RA-970BX) for a nice home-based Meta42. On the meta:
The power supply caps are Elna, which are really nice electrolitic caps. The resistors are Vishay Dales, which everyone pretty much uses, because they are good quality. It has an AD8620 op amp in it. It has 1 buffer per channel, where as some have 2 stacked. It has a nice Alps pot. It doesn't need a wall wart, so the power is cleaner, since it has the toroidal transformer.
So would this be a good trade for the Rotel? Would it actually sound better than the Rotel for headphone use?
thanks in advance,
