how's the sound quality?

Owning one, I like the sound quality. But then, I don't mind using the EQ and other sound conditioners/modifiers to enjoy music. I freely adjust away to make whatever headphones or speakers I'm using sound good to me.

My questions are: Does anyone know whether or not the constituent components are good/bad/okay? Are those numbers an indicator or just factory part numbers?
