Although I love my UE-10 Pros I suffer the same issue as many other IEM owners; they are so sensitive that many sources are simply to loud to comfortably listen to. I'm a bit paranoid about potential hearing loss so I never listen very loud. I am currently using a Sansa e280, and even with the volume on "1" the audio is just a bit to loud for my tastes.
I know UE sells an "airline adapter" in their optional Tool Kit, but I am trying to avoid extra cabling if possible.
I also found this "pad" from M-Audio. Has anyone tried it and what were the results?
Any other options that you would recommend?
I did try a RS inline volume control, but would much prefer a simple adapter. Extra cabling really gets in the way when I am active (jogging, rollerblading, etc). Thanks!
