I am getting a couple of Squeezeboxes for streaming flac files. I want to hook them up to a couple of decent quality amps for speakers. I was looking at something like the NAD C320bee or Rotel RB-1050 or RA-02, which have plenty of power for the modest speakers I have in mind. They don't have to be integrated amps (but that would be a plus in flexibility). My understanding is that the squeezebox has volume control. Also, I may occasionally use my Mini-Dac as an external DAC/pre-amp and possibly a Headamp GS-1 as a pre-amp. I am not searching for the holy grail, just sweet sound at about $500 or less per amp. What other amps I should be considering, if any?
