My trusty ES5's suffered a right earpiece failure about two years ago. I have other IEMs and just shifted to them. Kept meaning to send these off, but never did. About May, I finally sent them off. Westone contacted me about ten days later to let me know one of the drivers had gotten loose; they were being fixed at no charge despite being over four years out of warranty. I was overseas at the time and asked if they could be sent to me. Westone charged me $60 extra for FedEx a half-world away, didn't charge for the repair, and threw in a new plastic waterproof carry case and cable (I'd only sent them the earpieces). At least in my case, Westone very much stands behind their products and I'll absolutely be a customer going forward.
