In Your Opinion: The most comfortable set ever?

I've gotten so used to my SR225's I forget they are on my head. So very light, and the bowls don't bother me in the slightest anymore.

If my AD700's were lighter I would vote them, but they are a hinge too bulky still. DT880's never "disappeared" from my head, they were too big as well, though a very comfortable "big"

Here's my two cents based on my top 5 experiences...

1.) beyerdynamic DT880
2.) HD800
3.) Denon D7000 (with stock pads)
4.) beyerdynamic T1
5.) RS1 / K701 (tie)

K-1000

For a traditional headphone, I've never tried anything that was more comfortable than the old MB Quarts. They're much more comfortable than Beyers or AKGs.

Any of the SR series Grados. I barely ever knew they were on. The HF-2 follows close. Especially with Jumbos.

I find Grados to be one of the most uncomfortable headphones I've tried. I doubt I've ever tried them with jumbo pads, but with one exception, they were uncomfortable within a minute. The one exception had very worn and soft pads.

These really are pillows. I tried on a pair at a Sony store. I imagine they'd be hot in the summer though.

Bose Triports, by far. I found the Panasonic RPHT355s to be very comfortable, as well. I was never able to understand why a $30 pair of closed headphones was more comfortable than others many times their price.

How do the ATH-M50s stack up against the HD555s in terms of comfort? I'm trying to decide between these two sets of cans at the moment. Are the HD555s a LOT more comfortable? Are they worth a $15 price jump for comfort alone?
