My folks are in the market for some in-ceiling/in-wall speakers. Any good bang for the buck suggestions (would be greatly appreciated. How's Swans' VR/VX series? What should I use to power the speakers? TIA

I'm sure you could modify them for in wall installation, just ask SP Tech.

Form factor's a bit more than my parents would prefer. Anyone have any experience w/Polk RC60i or RC80i? What if I used a pair of Allison Acoustics bookshelves for the front channel?
