Hey folks, I'm doing a cycling trip for a month inTaiwan and noticed some shops with lots of headphones. Anything I should consider looking at that may not be avail back home in N. America? I'm leaving taipei tomorrow but will spend a coupleore days here at the end of my trip.....

Thanks!

Here's some info on headphone specialty stores in Taipei, hopefully you'll find it useful.

Eartron(億而創)/Earzone(億而頌): https://www.facebook.com/eartron.tw/info, https://www.facebook.com/earzone.tw/info
Pincha(品嘉音響): http://www.pincha.com.tw/about-pincha/
JM-Plus(加煒電子): https://www.facebook.com/jmplus/info
Music Hifi(音悅音響): http://www.hifi.com.tw/adm_root/index.php (there's a link to a map beside their fax number at the bottom of the page)

If you happen to be in Taichung city centre, you can also check out My Ear (http://my-ear.no-ip.org/wordpress/contact/)

These stores should have tons of models available for you to demo, so I guess that doesn't really answer your question of what to target. Keep in mind basically all headphones are imported so prices should be comparable to those at home. It's a chance to try out a wide variety of things all at one place though, and that's something hard to do here. You can easily spend a whole day at one of these places so take that into account when you make your plans!
