...loud, and decent general use quality clip on headphones to go with my MP3 cd player.

Preferably the Panas or Sonys which are easily acessible in Canada. Also what are good online retailers that send to Canada?

Open or closed?
If you don't need isolation, one answer, KSC-35.
If you need isolation, I'll have to defer to others here- I am personally undecided at the moment.

if you want clip-ons, the koss ksc35/75 is the way to go.

Ive seen used SR60s and K240s... around that price (ebay)... but then you have to factor in shipping, which I hadn't thought about. Used MDR-CD870.
