hello guys

I am new to this forum and this is my first post, so please take me as a complete audio noob :)

I recieved my Creative ZxR and Sennheiser 360 today. My main use of it will be on gaming and watching movies. I would like to know how should I set the option in creative control panel to get the best performance. I mean things like SBX / headphone gain / etc.

Just FYI I have it connected to ACM which is connected to the main card (my headphones has 3,5mm jacks so its easier for me to use it with ACM module)

Can you please give me some recommendations ?

THank you very much and sorry for my bad English, I am not a native speaker.

PS: Just a little offtopic on the end: what would be your "dream" headphones to use with Creative ZxR if there is no budget at all ? :) (My pick would be Sennheiser 800)

Did you disable the motherboard's on-board audio? in the BIOS.

Here is a good thread for reading up on and asking questions about the Z cards.

yeah I did disable the onboard chip in bios. I was asking for the specific settings in creative control panel to the most of it...

I searched Sennheiser site and it says my 360 G4ME headset is 50ohm. So which gain setting in control panel should I use - 32/300 option or 600 ?

This is my first journey through audio devices so realy dont know much...

Thanks in advence
