any recomendations on stand alone speakers and a receiver? not too much money but enough money for a decent stand alone speakers and receiver..

Would i just be better off getting the logitech z-5500's? or would stand alone speakers and receiver be better ?

i was looking at creative labs stand alone speakers like the 7.1 system they have is only around 80.

As far as I know, Creative Labs doesn't make regular speakers, only computer speakers. For $150, you won't find a receiver and speakers better than the computer speakers you already have. Save your money!

check out the club3d theatron dts, it's a sondigo inferno at half price!!

or, you could wait for the auzentech x-fi prelude ... the best of both worlds
