Hey all! I picked up a pair of ksc75’s to see if I could use them as a travel alternative to my HD6xx. Unfortunately there’s something going on in the high end that my ears/brain do not like. I don’t have my own measuring equipment, but looking at the measurements here:https://diyaudioheaven.wordpress.com/headphones/measurements/koss/ksc75/ maybe it’s that resonance/peak at 4khz my ears are offended by.
Anyhow I was wondering if anyone else out there with KSC75’s has designed or experimented with an in line passive notch filter like the late Linkwitz used to use on his ER4? I was thinking of trying something similar and notching out a bit at 4khz and see if that makes them more useable for me as a travel setup! Thanks in advance for any response!!
