Hello
So i've been searching this info for quite a while and I never found a clear answer or rather some comparative measurements.
I've got a new pair of Campfire Polaris V2. It comes with a standard 3.5 mm cable, but I've been thinking about getting a 3.5 mm cable with in-line mic for convenience (also from Campfire Audio).
Trouble is, there's no place I can easily get one from where I live, only online, and I wouldn't like to fuss around with a return process in case I realise there's too big of a negative impact on sound quality.
Hence my question, for anyone that had experience with these types and cables and teste them/measured them or A/B'd them against normal, non-inline-mic cables - does a cable with an in-line mic sound worse than a standard one? Does the microphon circuitry add any negative aspects to the sound? And if so, in what way/was it ever measured?
THANK YOU!
