I'm looking for a new pair of earphones after my other one broke. I'm willing to go anywhere between $50-$100. I've been looking at the S4, UE700, and se215, but I'm afraid of how long they would actually last before breaking down.

These are the things I need:

1. Durability. I commute a lot from school, so I'll be putting these on and taking them off quite often.
2. Comfort/Snug Fit. I need to be able to put these on and take them off easily.
3. Sound Isolating
4. Clarity over Bass

Any suggestions?

Thank You!

Scratch off the UE700 for durability, but out of the three you have listed, it has the most clarity.  The SE215 goes over the ear and can be a pain to put in/out quickly and cord is heavy.  The S4 has decent bass, but you lose some on clarity.  I would consider the Etymotic HF5 for your price range (around $100), or the lower sibling MC5 for about half that.  Both has a 2 year warranty if purchased from an authorized dealer.

The Sony EX510, HF5, Yamaha EPH100, JVC FX500 and Klipsch Image X10 are recommended and they all are easy to wear and offers great soundquality.
