In-ear phones wax and dust buildup. How should I clean it

I've had these cks1000s for around 6 months-ish. I purchased them from a member here and they were in perfect condition. However, I'm finding that the wax and dust building up is getting pretty horrible and I need to address this before my phones are totally ruined (if they're not already).
 
I always make sure to clean out the tips before I put them on. I've also went to the doctor to flush my ears but he told me there's no wax to flush out so I know I don't have a wax buildup problem at all. I guess this is a result of wax slowly getting in the tips while listening + not always keeping them in their carrying case = dust.
 
Anyways guys, I need your advice on how to get these bad boys as clean as possible again. I hope all is not too late!
