Hi there,
I have £200 to splash out on some new in ear headphones.

I listen to indie, so Foo-fighters, raziorlight, and bands like that.
I like a good bass line and as much noise as possible to be canceled out.
I have some Bose in ear, i like, but just aren't loud enough as there is no noise cancellation at all!

And i also have some Myler1 x3....

What do you tech wizards recommend?
Cheers
Tom

I'm not too well-versed in IEMs, but...

Foo Fighters aren't indie!

With the pound/dollar exchange rate, you could get some livewires for that, including audiologist fees.

I would agree with Rav, Livewires must be the bargain of the year.

So if there custom fit....Do they send you some sort of molding putty??? Then send it off and then they create them??
Thanks
Tom

You'd need to go see an audiologist to get impressions made (they inject a 2 part epoxy type stuff in your ear canal and reomove it after a few minutes when it's hardened). Seems to be a little hit and miss how much you'll have to pay, but make sure that they know that you only want the initial impressions, not any molds made or anything. Shouldn't cost more than £30 at the outside, i got mine done at the hearing company for a tenner, but i don't think there's a standard price.

wow! These phones are really, 'professional'!

Tempting but, will it be worth my while? are they really that amazing?
Or would i be better off getting something like the Shure SE530

Thanks
Tom

I'll be posting my review of the Denon AH-C700 IEMs later today. Look for it, they should merit some consideration!
