I’m looking for a pair of in-ear cans. I mean, I love my ety’s

but I ADORE my ATH-A900’s!

To get things clear, I am searching for in-ear buds with the sound of the 900’s.
Is this reasonable or should I dream on?

It is reasonable depending on how much you're willing to spend. Custom-molded canalphones can be competitive with full-size cans, but they will cost you a lot more money. The UE10 Pro clocks in at a nice $950, and it will beat the sound quality of the A900 (or it should... I haven't heard it, but the reports have been great).

Perhaps some UE, Sensaphonics, and Westone custom users will chime in with their experience.

If you give me a week or so, perhaps I'll chime in with mine
