Sorry, but this all smells fishy from here. There is not a single photo of the conventional iem. If they are really ready, where are the photos that Bob have SINCE ALWAYS posted on Instagram before making the shipments? Has anyone who has ordered the conventional iem demanded to show any photos (if possible, that don't look like any other iem)?

Several months ago something similar happened with an EH.

@bunchi99 , i really hope that your iems get delivered ASAP, but... Buff...

ya i know, it's simply incomprehensible the way imr deals with things... the lack of response, the unnecessary lies, the baffling excuses, even the photo i received, they are all very poor handling of matter unnecessarily. I will update if any news on my side. it feels like winning a lottery just to have an iem purchased finally delivered, it shouldn't be like that...

Perhaps you, all, remember what Bob said to me:

That I will see my tracking number updating by December 12 and that I will receive my order 1 to 3 business days later.

Today, December 12, and until this hour, 17:40 UK time, my tracking status on Royal Mail is still the same, we are expecting it, no update.

If I won't receive an update by tomorrow noon, I will email IMR again.

This is the last time I am ordering from IMR.

There used to be his mobile number printed on invoice back in days. I am not sure if it is there these days.
I guess if you manage to find the number, just give him a call and get the update.

... Oh man, if someone gets that number. Everyone here would be swarming him with calls like a telemarketing company

Random comment, but ignoring the discussion about the origin and price of the Dawn, an finding it an absolutely fantastic daily beater for the commute into the office.

Pairing it with a Sony NW-A105 and Tri Clarion tips. A105 is the EU version so had y the kids output power, but drives the Dawn well at just below max volume setting (105/120). SQ and size of this pair is excellent for a commuting setup.
I took them out for a walk to the supermarket last night. My phone --> FiiO BTR7. The sound isolation was minimal but maybe it had to do with the tips. Upon returning home, I've changed them. They sound nice. Personally, I would never pay £255.00 for the Dawn. As a gift, however, they are alright.

Not the same? The vent hole marked as failure in the first photo is not exactly the same in the second photo?

Yeah, they're good ... but I wouldn't pay that either. But that's probably because I know what's going on (red dawn and all that). Looking at what you get .... that doesn't say £255.00 to me.

Yeah...
I am returning the SIMGOT EW200 to Amazon tomorrow morning.
The Dawn is (much) better

What is the best book you've read this year and why?

How does the Dawn with it's much smaller driver compare with Ozar?
It's been a long time since I listened to my Ozar, but from memory it holds up well. I'll try and remember to dig the Ozar out and have a listen to both at some point soon.

I'm using ManarinEs Symbio W with my Dawn, to excellent effect, out of my Sony NW-ZX707.

Agree, as a daily commuter these are pretty much ideal.
