Try JVC ++ tips, they extract the most air out of any iem, definitely blue filter and try red or grey stem. You can also try some silver plated cables, they responded well but I still went back to stock.

Red lower, blue upper, and Spring Tips. ISN S4 is a nice silver plated copper cable. I have tried everything.

I had an order from him where i needed to slap on a low cost but decent cable on iem before sale. He made me one for just around £100 and the build quality was amazing.
And hes a really cool guy too. So just ping him a line. Give him your budget and see what you can get.
Actually even his flagships are not that expensive compared to whats out there these days...

Just received my Aces, at first I was worried with the sound and size, looks a bit bulky, conversely it is very comfortable to my small ears.
And after 2 hours listening, I think I will enjoy it and worth the long wait.
I will keep the stock cable and tips until they are fully burn-in.

Just tried the opposite combination today, blue lower/red upper. Really nice pairing for me. Solid, impactful bass with texture and smooth highs, not shrill or piercing. With the wide bore SS20 tips I'm using, this might be a better match than the green upper/grey lower filters I used before.

It's interesting that the IEM can sound so well tuned to my ears with this filter set, but someone else may hear it completely differently and prefer other filters. Almost gives Bob an "easy way out" with tuning, lol.
