I was at tower records looking to spend my 25 dollar gift card i got for xmas and the last thing on my mind were headphones. I was walkin by and I spotted some px-100's. I literally stopped in my tracks and thought whether I should get them or not. They were 50 bux but with my GC it would cut that price in half. Senns for $25? I don't need anymore phones I kept telling myself! But the I just could'nt resist. I caved in and bought them. I'm not gonna go into how they sound cause I'm sure everybody knows they sound good, if not great for the price. But the fact is I did not NEED them! It was an impulse buy. Now I own:

I think it took me a day or two to get around to actually ordering the thing (though I wasn't thinking about it and nothing else for those two days as it was Christmas and I was thinking about relaxing and wasn't thinking about spending any money at all) but in the end the Corda Aria was basically an impulse buy... I didn't think I needed a DAC/amp as I had my audigy 2 ZS platinum pro (shows you what I knew about fidelity at the time)


Definitely worth it - gets used about 3-4 hours a day or so at the moment (sometimes more!)

HR-2 and ATH-W1000 were basically impulse buys. I bought them because they became available in the FS forum. I had always wanted them but used ones aren't easy to come by, and when the chance hit, I went for it without much thought to the impact on my wallet.
