My new ER6 just came so I will do a brief comparison between them and the Sony EX71
Isolation- I thought the EX71 had decent isolation, but the Bi flange tips for me cant compare to the now poor seal of the Sonys. Much better now.
Comfort- Similar comfort with both but too early to tell.
Sound Quality- Detail is much better almost not comparable. With much better highs cleaner midrange also. The Bass is not as boomy although it is not as deep. bass guitar is coming out more than before.
The Karma drives these fine(Despite the 6i's supposedly being easy to drive)
EQ should help it out
