As is often the case with hifi gear, it looks like the price in Canada sucks.

USD$299 should work out to around CAD$400, but instead I'm seeing $475 on Aune's Amazon page.

Sigh ... 🙁
Always good to read the small print.
Taxes and duties included with free shipping. : )

Comfort is phenomenal, can completely forget I'm wearing them. Craftsmanship is next level full metal construction with amazing machining and no sharp edges.
Sound, it's still early.
But so far they have Fantastic clarity, dynamics. Very good sound stage, fantastic imaging and really really good timbre. Sounds very sweet and warm. Scales with amplifiers. There's nothing these do wrong.
Good to know there are headphones like this for affordable prices out there now.
Will update with more in two weeks or so.
Congratulations to @AuneAudio for this successful first headphone, phenomenal job.

Congrats again, Lantian. The headphone stand they included is also from the brand Aune? Would you share a pic? :relaxed:

Would you also measure the inner hole of the pads, please? (I have big ears  )

Sure here are some pics of the stand.
And some of the earpads, they are not circular inside more oval/square like. Height weise around 65mm and length wise around 45mm.IMG_20240117_095136.jpgIMG_20240117_095105.jpgIMG_20240117_094559.jpgIMG_20240117_094750.jpgIMG_20240117_094729.jpg

Weird that people say it lacks Bass.
For me it definitely doesn't lack any bass, like what? If totally honest in the first hours one of laid back albums and one of Gorillaz each where to boomy and a bit masked, now it has settled down, become tighter and more controlled and highs statt to appear more and more. But guess that's different tastes to different folks. Right now have become amazing. Don't want to compare them yet to my Sennheiser's other than hd 480 classic which get totally left in the dust by these.
Vocals sound very, very good both female and male, fantastic.

Lacking bass compared to rest of the unit. I think we are getting to super nit picky region here comparing it to $1k+ headphones. I feel that bass is the only part that is just "good" while rest of it is "excellent". This is probably going to be my other locations headphone for me :)

just got it today , and first impression from just few songs is quite impressive

natural timbre, sweet vocal, soundstage i think a bit less than my EDXS , strings instruments feels really good
i havent really seen the newer headphone sub $500, but compare to my EDXS, and hd 600 series, this one build quality is really good

maybe my cons is lack a bit of bass slam, and cant really catch up in busy song , but well maybe its because i often listen with some iem that really good on metal song lately
oh, and maybe another con is my 3.5mm connector really tight, or maybe its just my unit

also is there any tutorial video of how to change the pad, and what after party earpad that fit with this?

and is there a good way to reduce the clamp forced? maybe same method with hd 600 series? (im using glasses, if i dont use it the pressure still okay-ish)
